II. Course Outline

Basics
    This 2day lesson-set will teach the basic (i.e. the elementary things) one needs to know when deciding to get into the Dance Mime Ministry. This course is intended for ministers of all levels but is especially helpful for those just starting out.

5 Most Common Types of Dance

This lesson-set is the bulk of the Dance & Mime Institute course curriculum using 6 days worth of lessons. This lesson-set will focus on not only the gifting to minister a particular type of dance but will help give a total well-roundedness to ministers equipping them to “be all things to all people that they may save some.” It is important that we as ministers take our giftings out of the box and learn how to use our giftings totally and fully touching every aspect it to be a more effective minister and witness.

    Song Selection
 
This lesson-set is intended to teach the importance of proper song selection. Knowing that every song not only does not fit every occasion but every song is also not meant to be ministered in dance to. Picking the proper song that fits the anointing on your life and the occasion of ministry is a key attribute that a lot of dance ministers miss.

    Effective Ministry
 
This lesson-set is designed to pull everything that has been learned together. Combining all aspects of the basics, types of dance, and song selection into one lesson-set asking each student to take what they have learned and apply it in short presentation. This lesson-set will also be used to impart and springboard the ministry in each minister as well as be used as a platform to the next lesson-set “Building an Effective Team”

    Building an Effective Team

Success is not success unless you have a successor. This is the essential belief that composes this lesson-set. The ability to reproduce yourself (in spirit) effectively and learn to impart what is in you into others is what is taught in this lesson-set. This lesson-set is especially good for those who want to help build this ministry within your home churches.

    Proper Presentation

This lesson-set is designed to teach about attire and some of the colors and their meanings spiritually. Knowing that the way you look is related to the way you are received in this ministry. Mastering the art of having the proper-type attire for your song and your call will help produce powerful results.
